Star-Studded Baycurrent Classic Field Confirmed for Yokohama
The Baycurrent Classic Presented by LEXUS is set to bring one of the strongest fields ever assembled for a PGA TOUR event in Japan to Yokohama Country Club this October.
A total of 64 players have now been confirmed for the tournament, which takes place from October 5–11, 2026. As the PGA TOUR’s only official event in Asia, the Baycurrent Classic will welcome 62 PGA TOUR players, including sponsor exemptions, alongside two winners from designated JGTO events. A further eight places are still to be announced.
The latest names add even more strength to an already exceptional field. Former major champion and 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley returns to Japan, having won this event in 2022. He will be joined by six-time PGA TOUR winner Tony Finau, four-time winner Tom Kim, and Akshay Bhatia—one of the game’s most exciting young talents and winner of the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
There is plenty of current form in the line-up, too. Ryan Gerard, third in the FedExCup standings, and Jacob Bridgeman, winner of the 2026 Genesis Invitational and fourth in the standings, will both tee it up at Yokohama Country Club. Fan favourite Max Homa, 2023 Open Champion Brian Harman, and rising stars Michael Thorbjornsen and Michael Brennan further underline the depth of the field.
Japanese golf fans will be particularly keen to follow Keita Nakajima and Takumi Kanaya. Both former world No.1 amateur and JGTO standouts, the pair now compete on the PGA TOUR and will have the opportunity to test themselves against the world’s best on home soil.
They join a previously announced group featuring Hideki Matsuyama, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Jordan Spieth, Wyndham Clark and Ryo Hisatsune.
With elite major champions, Ryder Cup figures, established PGA TOUR winners and Japan’s leading international players all set to compete, the Baycurrent Classic Presented by LEXUS promises to be a memorable week of world-class golf just outside Tokyo.
