1. Daisen Golf Club

Selected continuously as one of Japan's top 100 courses, Daisen is named after the newarby volcanic  Mt. Daisen. Nestled within the virgin forest its base, Daisen Golf Club has earned its place among Japan's top courses.

Each hole is intricately woven into the landscape, surrounded by towering red pines, black pines, and various other trees. The fairways are generously wide, enhancing the overall playability. Notably, the 6th hole stands out as a feature; This long hole begins with a dogleg to the right, and the second shot requires a skillful carry over a valley.

The 15th hole offers breathtaking views—a straight, gently uphill fairway with Mt. Daisen majestically towering to the right. Overall, the course boasts ample distance, providing an exhilarating yet challenging experience for golf enthusiasts.

2. Tottori Country Club Yoshioka Onsen Course

From the clubhouse restaurant, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Koyama, the largest lake in the Sea of Japan, and the impressive Tottori Sand Dunes. The front nine features a series of downhill holes, and despite the overall short length, precision is crucial for navigating the narrow fairways and sticky rough.

Conversely, the back nine presents a set of challenging holes, including the lengthy par-4 12th and the gourd-shaped par-3 13th, featuring two-tiered greens. Notably, the par-5 18th hole, a dogleg to the left, adds an intriguing element to the course. It puts your course management skills to the test, offering the choice between a bold shortcut over the valley or a safer, more strategic play around the danger.

3. Kanda Golf Club

Kanda Golf Club stands out as one of the region's finest short courses (par 58). Embracing the concept of "easy and fun golf," the club is nestled in the magnificent natural surroundings at the foot of Mt. Daisen.

The course caters to a diverse range of players, including beginners, families, couples, women, juniors, and solo golfers, providing an authentic short-course experience. It is particularly well-suited for advanced players looking to enhance their approach and putting skills. 18 holes for visitors costs just ¥3,900 on weekdays and ¥4,250 on weekends!
