Golf-in-Japan – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Golf-in-Japan website (the “Site”) and the golf booking concierge services provided through it (the “Service”). The Site is operated by AIR Golf Media Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Site or Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

If you make a booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for ensuring all participants accept these Terms and for all associated costs.

2. Nature of Service

Golf-in-Japan provides tee time booking concierge services only.

We are not a licensed travel agency under the Travel Agency Act and do not sell or organize travel packages.

Where requested, we may introduce you to licensed third-party travel providers. Any such arrangements are contracted directly between you and those providers.

3. Accuracy of Information

We strive to ensure all information is accurate. However, we do not guarantee completeness or accuracy of third-party content (including golf courses).

Final pricing and availability are confirmed at the time of booking.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are subject to change until booking confirmation
  • Payments authorize us to process transactions via our payment providers
  • Any applicable fees will be disclosed prior to payment
  • Promotions do not apply retroactively

5. Cancellations and Amendments (Customer)

  • Booking fee: Non-refundable
  • Changes: Free (subject to availability)

Cancellation charges:

  • 7+ days prior: No charge (except booking fee)
  • 6–3 days: 30%
  • 2 days: 50%
  • <48 hours / no-show: 100%

All requests must be made via email.

6. Cancellations by Us

We may cancel or amend bookings due to:

  • Course issues
  • Operational reasons
  • Force majeure (e.g. weather)

We will offer:

  • Refund (excluding non-refundable fees), or
  • Alternative arrangements

7. Third-Party Providers

We are not responsible for:

  • Golf course operations
  • Travel providers
  • External services

We are not liable for their actions, omissions, or service quality.

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance. We do not provide insurance.

9. Special Requests

We will pass on requests but cannot guarantee fulfillment.

10. Intellectual Property

All content is owned by AIR Golf Media Co., Ltd. or licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • We are not responsible for third-party actions or force majeure
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes fall under the Tokyo District Court.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
