So prominent is the reputation of the Lakewood golf course that few Japanese business executives over 50 haven't played there at least once in their business careers! Renowned for its hospitality, fine cuisine and gracious appointments, this club delivers all it promises and more!

Designed by Theodore G. Robinson in 1969 the course fit in well with the natural landscape of the area that included lakes and rolling hills. One of the world's most prominent architects, Ted Robinson is credited with designing and modifying over 170 courses worldwide. His vast portfolio includes such famous courses as Ko Olina Golf Club in Hawaii and Sahalee Country Club in Washington State that is set to host the 31st U.S. Senior Open Championship in 2010. Mr. Robinson only designed 3 courses here in Japan and all three are within the Lakewood Corporations group of courses. The other two courses being Lakewood Akeno in Yamanashi Prefecture and Lakewood Tomioka in Gunma.

The West (main) Clubhouse features the check-in reception area, a breakfast and lunch cafe and a well appointed pro-shop where you will find a full selection of Lakewood G.C. branded goods.

The guests locker room provides soothing Japanese style baths, showers, massage chairs and all the amenities you would expect from a world class facility to relax and refresh yourself. The 2nd floor enjoys views of Mt Fuji with the tasty Suntory's restaurant "Dinac" and multiple post-play party rooms to suit your every need.

The East Course Clubhouse "Kohantei"
The East Course Clubhouse "Kohantei" boasts panoramic views of the golf course and lakes, multiple restaurants featuring expertly prepared seasonal Japanese foods, a SUSHI BAR and banquet halls.

This high class facility offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that will please even the most discerning customer. Our exquisite VIP rooms and well trained staff are ready to pamper you and your cherished customers and guests.

To help you warm up there is a fully covered 19 stall 200yard driving range open daily from 7:00am to 10:45am. Purchase your coin (1 coin for 30 balls) at the Caddy Masters.

If you want to practice your sandy shots there is also a practice bunker available (right).

Practice Putting Greens
You can enjoy multiple, all bent grass, putting greens (see below) before your round located in the front of both the East and West courses club houses and starting holes.
